A clinician is always in the loop. AID-Rapid is designed as decision support: it organizes and explains evidence for a licensed clinician to review — it does not diagnose on its own or replace clinical judgment.
Equity by design
Autoimmune disease doesn't affect everyone equally, and neither do the diagnostic delays. Black, Hispanic, and Indigenous women carry the heaviest burden and face the longest waits. AID-Rapid is designed from the ground up for the communities that current pathways leave behind — including an accessible, bilingual experience.
